Oriental Salad - Double Batch |

Packages Ramen Oriental Soup Noodles Combine all the marinade
ingredients. I like to prepare the marinade and place in frig for
several hours or overnight so the flavors combine. Boil both packages of
noodles for about 4 minutes or until cooked. Drain and rinse under cold
water (speeds up the cooling process and keeps them from getting too
sticky). Shortly before serving*, toss the marinade, noodles, cashews (i
rinse the salt off if they're salted) and chopped cabbage together (use
as much as you like of the cabbage- i prefer to use a lot to make it
more of a "crunchy" salad). *cashews tend to
get soft if made too far in advance.you can also add any kind of
left-over chopped cooked pork, chicken, turkey or beef. |
