Oriental Salad - Double Batch

2 Packages Ramen Oriental Soup Noodles

1/4 Cup Sesame Or Vegetable Oil
1/4 Cup Vinegar
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Green Onion Chopped
2-3 Tablespoons Soy Sauce (Up To You)
Spice Packages From Soup/Noodles (2)
2 Pkgs. Ramen Noodles, Cooked, Rinsed And Drained
1 Cup Cashews
1/2 Head Of Green Cabbage Chopped

Combine all the marinade ingredients. I like to prepare the marinade and place in frig for several hours or overnight so the flavors combine. Boil both packages of noodles for about 4 minutes or until cooked. Drain and rinse under cold water (speeds up the cooling process and keeps them from getting too sticky). Shortly before serving*, toss the marinade, noodles, cashews (i rinse the salt off if they're salted) and chopped cabbage together (use as much as you like of the cabbage- i prefer to use a lot to make it more of a "crunchy" salad).

*cashews tend to get soft if made too far in advance.you can also add any kind of left-over chopped cooked pork, chicken, turkey or beef.
