Yield: 5 To 6 Doz. Pastry: 4 Cups
Flour Filling: 1 Lb
Finely Chopped Walnuts 1 Lb Butter 3/4 Lb Powdered
Sugar 1/2 Pint Sour
Cream 4 Egg Whites 6 Egg Yolks 3/4 Tsp Vanilla
Extract Pastry: cut butter
into flour. Slightly beat eggs yolks and stir insour cream. Add the egg
mixture to butter and flour, stir throughly. Form dough into balls the
size of walnuts. Chill balls at least three (3) hours or overnight.
After dough is chilled, roll out on well floured pastry board till very
thin. Place filling place filling on top and roll into cresent shape.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 375 deb. For 12 to 15 minutes. Let
cool a few minutes then dust with powdered sugar. Filling: beat egg
whites till stiff, add remaining ingredients. |
