German Potato Salad


10 Medium Potatoes, Cubed And Precooked Till Just Tender
1 Cup Chopped Onion
1 1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Lb Bacon, Diced
1/4 Tsp Pepper
2 Tbsp Butter
1/2 Cup Vinegar
2 Tbsp Flour
1 Cup Water
1/4 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Sour Cream

In large pot fry bacon till crisp. Drain on paper toweling. Pour off grease and melt butter in same pan. Add flour, sugar, salt, pepper, vinegar and water; stir till smooth and thickened. Lower heat and add sour cream, blend well. Add potatoes, onion and bacon. Heat through and serve. Can be kept warm and ready to serve in large crock pot!
