Sweet & Sour Frankfurters




Serves 4 To 6

1 Can (8 Oz) Pineapple Chunks (In Own Juice)
2 Tbsp Corn Starch
3/4 Cup Water
1/4 Cup Corn Oil
1/4 Cup Corn Syrup
6 Frankfurters, Cut In 2 In Strips
2 Tsp Soy Sauce
1 Large Onion, Cut In Thin Wedges
1 Beef-Flavored Bouillon Cube
2 Ribs Celery, Cut 1 In Pieces
2 Tomatoes, Cut In Wedges
1 Green Pepper, Cut In Thin Strips
Hot Cooked Rice

Drain pineapple; reserve 1/4 cup juice. In large skillet or wok heat corn oil over medium high heat. Add frankfurters; stir fry 4 to 5 minutes or until browned. Add next three (3) ingredients; stir fry two (2) minutes. In small bowl mix corn starch and reserved pineapple juice until smooth. Stir in water and next three (3) ingredients; stir into skillet. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil over medium heat and boil one (1) minute. Stir in pineapple and tomato; cook 1 to 2 minutes or until heated through. Serve over rice.
