Cocktail Meatballs

Makes: 3 1/2 Doz

2 Lb Ground Beef
1/4 Tsp Pepper
1/2 Cup Oats, Uncooked
1 Egg
1/3 Cup Chopped Onion
3 Tbsp Shortening
1/4 Cup Catsup
15 Oz Tomato Sauce
2 Tbsp Parsley Flakes
1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tbsp Prepared Mustard
1/2 Tsp Thyme
1 Tsp Prepared Horseradish
1/4 Tsp Garlic Salt

Combine meat, oats, onion, catsup, parsley, salt, thyme, garlic salt, pepper and egg. Shape to form small, bite-sized meatballs. Brown in hot shortening. Drain. Combine tomato sauce, soy sauce, mustard and horseradish. Pour over drained meatballs. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Serve in chafing dish or fondue pot.
