Texas Cake




 

1 Cup Butter

1/2 Tsp Salt

1 Cup Water

2 Eggs, Beaten

4 Tsp Cocoa

1/2 Cup Sour Cream

2 Cups Flour

1 Tsp Baking Soda

2 Cups Sugar

 

Bring butter, water and cocoa to boil in sauce pan. Remove from heat and add flour, sugar and salt. Beat together the eggs, sour cream and baking soda. Add sour cream mixture to flour mixture, mix well. Pour onto greased cookie sheet and bake at 400 deg. For 20 minutes.

 

Frosting:

1/2 Cup Butter

1 Box Confectioners Sugar

4 Tbsp Cocoa

1 Tsp Vanilla

7 Tbsp Milk

1 Cup Nuts

 

Bring to boil ingredients in first column. Add remaining ingredients, stirring well. Spread on cake after it has been out of oven 5 to 10 minutes.
