Russian Tea Cakes


Yield: 4 Doz.


1 Cup Soft Butter

1/2 Cup Sifted Confectioners Sugar

1 Tsp Vanilla

2 1/4 Cups Flour

1/4 Tsp Salt

3/4 Cup Chopped Nuts


Cream butter, sugar and vanilla throughly. Sift together dry ingredients and stir in butter mixture. Add nuts. Roll into balls and/or half moon shapes. Bake till firm but not brown. Roll in confecturers sugar while still slighly warm. Bake at 350 deg. For 10 to 12 minutes.
