Old Dutch Sand Cookies




 

Yield: 4 Doz

 

1 1/2 Cups Butter

1 Tsp Baking Soda

1 1/2 Cups Sugar

1 1/2 Tsp Vanilla

3 Cup Flour

1 Cup Chopped Pecans

 

Cream Sugar And Butter Till Fluffy. Sift Flour With Baking Soda And Mix Into Butter Mixture. Add Vanila And Beat Till Smooth. Mix In Nuts. Shape Dough Into Rolls And Refrigerate At Least Three (3) Hours. Slice Cookies 1/4 Inch Thick And Bake As Desired In Preheated Oven. Bake At 350 Deg. For 14 Minutes.
