Mocha Brownies




 

5 Squares Semi-Sweet Chocolate

1 1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar

1/3 Cup Butter

2 Tsp Vanilla Extract

2/3 Cup Flour

1 1/4 Cup Graham Gracker Crumbs

1/2 Tsp Salt

1 Cup Nuts, Walnut Etc, Chopped

1/2 Tsp Baking Powder

Coffee Glaze

4 Eggs

 

Melt chocolate and butter in small pan over low heat, cool. Combine flour, salt and baking powder; set aside. Beat eggs and sugar at medium speed until light. Beat in chocolate mixture and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture, graham cracker crumbs and nuts. Pour into a greased 9 x 9 x 2 pan. Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 350 deg. Glaze while hot.

 

Glaze:

2 Tbsp Milk

1 Tsp Instant Coffee

1 Tbsp Butter

1 1/2 Cups Confectioners Sugar

 

Heat milk, butter and coffee in small pan till butter has melted. Blend in sugar until smooth.
