Milk Dud Dessert




 

6 Egg Yolks, Beaten (Reserve Shites)

1/2 Cup Chopped Nuts

1 Cup Sugar

1 Tsp Vanilla

1 Cup Rusk Crumbs (7 Rusks)

1 Tsp Baking Powder

 

Mix all ingredients. Beat eff whites till stiff; fold into other mixture. Spread in 9 x 13 pan. Bake 30 minutes at 350 deg.

 

Sauce:

6 Small Boxes Milk Duds

2 Tbsp Butter

1/2 Cup Milk

1 Cup Powdered Sugar

1 Pint Wipping Cream

 

Melt milk duds in double boiler, add milk and butter. Cook until completely melted. Slowly stir in sugar. Cool. Whip cream, spread over cooled cake.
