Pizza Dough


1 Envelope Yeast

1 Tbsp Light Brown Sugar

1/2 Cup Lukewarm Water

2 Tbsp Oil

1 Cup Whole Wheat Flour

3/4 Tsp Salt

1 Cup Unbleached White Flour

1 Egg, Beaten


Dissolve yeast in water, add sugar, stir till frothy, measure flour and salt into a bowl and combine it with yeast, egg and oil. Beat 2-3 minutes, till dough is elastic. Set in warm place, covered and let rise till double. Beat down and knead for about one (1) minute on floured board. Roll out to fit pizza or large cookie pan which has been greased. Bake at 400 deg. For 5 to 7 Minutes, then add sauce and trimmings. Return to oven to bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
